Greetings in the name of Jesus!

You will notice some new names on our roster in this issue. We are thankful to these ladies for their willingness to help share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others in and beyond our district. Each lady was personally asked. She prayerfully and willingly accepted the challenge that awaits her. (There are five positions yet to be filled; pray about accepting the challenge when President Ruth calls you!)

Have you personally invited someone to be a part of the LWML? Someone who is newly retired, one who has recently joined your congregation, one who is a stay-at-home mom . . . all are potential members waiting to be asked to “serve the Lord with gladness.” Situations change and new doors to outreach are opened within your congregation. Don’t be afraid of rejection. Ask the Lord to walk with you, to bless your efforts, and to prepare the hearts of those you approach. Soon you will see new names on your roster, too!

Please use the articles, devotions, and resource persons mentioned in this edition to add interest and insight to your meetings. All of this was prepared with you in mind!

WHO IS TO RECEIVE THE SRD EXPRESS NEWSLETTER?

1. The zone LWML President, Christian Life, Christian Outreach, Human Care, Leader Development (or appropriate committee chairmen) through their home address.
2. The society LWML President receives a copy, which is sent to her church. She
   • Makes at least one copy of this
   • Reads and keeps a copy for herself
   • Distributes the sections of the other copy to the appropriate committees
